  • 4 cups Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Halves
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper


  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover/cook on high for 15 minutes, then switch to low and continue cooking, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 2 hours.
  3. Remove nuts, spread on a sheet pan and allow to cool.

Make these!!! They are the best and so easy. I have made them for the holidays as gifts the past three years, and I wll be making them for years to come. I have an infant, and this recipe is prefect because it isn't labor intensive like some holiday baking. Also, if you use ghee or coconut oil, these are Paleo which is nice to have for all of your strict gluten-free friends you might need gifts for.
