INGREDIENTS

vanilla cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, finely ground
1/4 cup
(1/2 stick) butter, melted
1 package
(14 ounces) soft caramel candies, unwrapped
1/4 cup
Karo® Light or Dark Real Brown Sugar Corn Syrup
1-1/2 cups
plus 2 tablespoons heavy cream, divided
3/4 cup
Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces
12 ounces
semi-sweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine cookie crumbs and butter in medium bowl. Press into bottom and up side of 10-inch tart pan or 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Combine caramels, corn syrup and 2 tablespoons cream in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 minutes or until caramels are completely melted, stirring halfway. Pour over prepared crust. Set aside about ¼ cup whole Fisher® Walnuts for garnish. Sprinkle remaining nuts over caramel. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  3. Heat remaining 1-1/2 cups cream in medium saucepan on medium-high heat until simmering. Remove from heat; add chocolate chips. Whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Cool. Pour over caramel in crust. Refrigerate 2 hours or until chocolate is set.
  4. Arrange remaining whole nuts around edge of tart. Refrigerate leftovers.

Crush cookies with rolling pin in resealable plastic bag or in food processor.
