all-purpose flour

seasoned salt

1-1/2 pounds
boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch strips
Vegetable oil, for frying

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine flour and seasoned salt in medium bowl. Whisk eggs and 2 tablespoons water in second bowl. Place Fisher® Almond Flour in third large bowl.
  2. Coat chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then coat completely in almond flour. Place on baking sheet.
  3. Heat oil in large pot to 375°F. Cook chicken, a few pieces at a time, 3-4 minutes or until crisp, golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Drain on paper towel-lined plate. Serve with your favorite condiments and dipping sauces.

Tips

Use your oven: Heat oven to 400°F. Coat chicken as directed; arrange on wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet. Spray chicken with cooking spray. Bake 20 minutes, turning chicken halfway, or until internal temperature registers 165°F.
For a gluten-free version, substitute cornstarch for the all-purpose flour.
