You’re sure to ‘go nuts’ for this delicious recipe featuring a crunchy coating of toasted slivered almonds!
DIRECTIONS
- Place fish and lemon juice in large resealable bag. Refrigerate 20 minutes to marinate, turning bag occasionally.
- Place ¾ cup flour in shallow dish. Whisk eggs and milk in medium bowl. Combine Fisher® Almonds, remaining ¾ cup flour, panko, salt, pepper in another shallow dish.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Remove fish from marinade; discard marinade. Coat fish in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat in almond mixture, gently pressing and turning to completely cover fish. (Discard any remaining breading mixtures.)
- Cook fish in hot oil 2-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown, flaky inside, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Drain on paper towel-lined plate. Season with additional salt and pepper.
