INGREDIENTS

2 packages
frozen mini phyllo dough shells (30 pieces)
3 tablespoons
butter, divided
2 medium
apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/3 cup
Karo® Light Corn Syrup
1/4 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/4 cup
Fisher® Chopped Pecans

DIRECTIONS

  1. Arrange phyllo shells on cookie sheet. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add apples. Cook 5 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring frequently. Transfer to medium bowl using slotted spoon.
  2. Melt remaining butter in skillet. Stir in corn syrup and cinnamon; bring to boil. Simmer on medium low heat 2-3 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Stir in apples and Fisher® Pecans. Spoon filling into phyllo shells. Serve immediately.

Filling may be prepared ahead of time. Assemble bites just before serving to retain crispness of the phyllo shells.
