2 cups
sugar
1 cup
Karo® Light Corn Syrup
1/3 cup
water
2-3/4 cups
Fisher® Raw Peanuts
1 teaspoon
table salt
1 tablespoon
butter
2 teaspoons
baking soda
1 teaspoon
vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Line 2 large rimmed baking sheets with foil and prepare with nonstick spray.
  2. Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Cook on medium heat 20-25 minutes or until mixture reaches 250°F on a candy thermometer, stirring occasionally. Stir in Fisher® Peanuts and salt. Cook about 25 minutes or until mixture reaches 295°F. Remove from heat. Stir in butter, baking soda and vanilla. (Mixture will foam and lighten in color.)
  3. Divide mixture between prepared pans, spreading to ¼-inch thick. Cool completely. Break into pieces. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
