INGREDIENTS

6 cups
halved, trimmed Brussels sprouts
2 tablespoons
olive oil
3 tablespoons
brown sugar, divided
1/2 teaspoon
kosher salt
6 slices
uncooked bacon, cut into ½-inch pieces
3/4 cup
chopped toasted Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces, divided
1/2 cup
dried cherries

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Toss Brussels sprouts, oil, 2 tablespoons sugar and salt in large bowl. Arrange on foil-lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally
  3. Meanwhile cook bacon in large skillet until crisp, stirring frequently. Do not drain. Add Brussels sprouts, remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and ½ cup Fisher® Walnuts. Cook and stir 5 minutes. Stir in cherries.
  4. Spoon into serving dish. Top with remaining nuts.

Tips

To toast walnuts, spread onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven for 8-10 minutes or until one shade darker in color, stirring occasionally.
