DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash apples using a brush or lightly rubbing with abrasive plastic scouring pad to remove any wax; dry completely. Insert wooden pop stick or skewer into stem end. Place Fisher® Walnuts on plate.
  2. Combine caramels and corn syrup in small, deep microwaveable bowl or 2-cup glass measure. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 minutes or until caramels are completely melted, stirring halfway.
  3. Prepare baking sheet with nonstick spray. Dip apples, 1 at a time, in hot caramel mixture, turning to coat well. Allow caramel to drip from apples for a few seconds, then scrape excess from bottoms. Press bottoms of apples into nuts, shaking off excess. Place on prepared pan.
  4. Microwave chocolate in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Spoon into resealable plastic bag, secure top and snip off one corner. Hold apple by stick and drizzle with chocolate back and forth to create vertical lines. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Refrigerate until caramel and chocolate are firm.
