Almond & Cherry Granola

Cherry granola is tasty on its own, but Fisher® Whole Almonds add a whole new level of irresistible crunchiness. Try sprinkling this snack on top of some yogurt for a creamy, protein-packed treat. You can also swap out the cherries for dried apples or pears if those are more your fruits of fancy.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups
old fashioned oats
3/4 cup
coarsely chopped Fisher® Whole Almonds
1/2 cup
sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup
packed brown sugar
1/4 cup
(1/2 stick) melted butter
2 tablespoons
honey
1/2 teaspoon
ground allspice
1/2 cup
dried cherries

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 300°F. Combine ingredients, except cherries, in large bowl. Spread onto large rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Bake 20 minutes, stirring halfway. Stir in cherries. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until granola is golden brown. Cool completely. Break into small pieces and store in airtight container at room temperature.
