INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup
flour
kosher salt and ground black pepper
1-1/2 pounds
tilapia filets
1/4 cup
Fisher® Chef’s Naturals® Sliced Almonds
1/4 cup
(1/2 stick) unsalted butter, divided
1 tablespoon
fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon
chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine flour, ¼ teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper on large plate. Pat fish dry with paper towels. Dust with flour mixture.
  2. Heat 12-inch heavy skillet on medium heat; add Fisher® Almonds. Cook 3-4 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently; remove from pan. Add 2 tablespoons butter to skillet and heat until foam subsides. Cook fish 4 minutes or until golden brown on bottom. Turn fish over and cook 1-2 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F. Transfer to clean plate; cover to keep warm.
  3. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and lemon juice to skillet; season with salt and pepper. Swirl pan until butter is completely melted then pour sauce over fish. Top with parsley and nuts.
