INGREDIENTS

2 cups
flour
1/1/4 teaspoons
baking powder
1/2 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/2 cup (1 stick)
butter, softened
1 cup
sugar
2
eggs
1 teaspoon
vanilla

ripe bananas, sliced
1 cup
Fisher® Chopped Walnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare 9x5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon in medium bowl.
  3. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add bananas; mix until well blended. Add flour mixture; mix until blended. Stir in Fisher® Walnuts. Spoon into prepared pan.
  4. Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.

Tips

For a sweet twist, stir 1 cup chocolate chips into batter.
