INGREDIENTS

2-1/2 cups
flour
2 teaspoons
cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon
table salt
1 teaspoon
baking powder
1 teaspoon
baking soda
1 cup
(2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups
brown sugar
1/2 cup
granulated sugar

whole egg
2
egg yolks
1 tablespoon
vanilla
1-1/2 cups

chocolate chips, divided

DIRECTIONS

  1. Whisk first 5 ingredients in medium bowl.
  2. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on high speed until light in color and fluffy. Add eggs and yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Mix in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating on low speed until well blended. Stir in Fisher® Walnuts and 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oven to 350°F. Scoop dough into 24 tablespoon-size balls. Arrange on parchment paper-lined cookie sheets at least 1-1/2 inches apart. Press remaining chocolate chips into each ball.
  4. Bake 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on pan 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Tips

Refrigerating the dough helps ensure cookies do not spread too much during baking.
