INGREDIENTS

1-3/4 cups
flour
2 teaspoons
baking powder
1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
1/4 cup
cocoa powder
3/4 cup
sugar
1 cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup
Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces, divided
1
egg
1 cup
milk
1/3 cup
vegetable oil
1 teaspoon
vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Prepare 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Combine first 6 ingredients and ½ cup Fisher® Walnuts in large bowl. Mix egg, milk, oil and vanilla; add to dry ingredients. Stir just until combined. (Batter will be slightly lumpy.) Spoon batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
