DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll out to 12x12-inch square. Cut off corners to form a rough circle. Spread half the cranberry sauce in center of dough. Top with 2 tablespoons Fisher® Cranberries and 2 tablespoons Fisher® Almonds. Place cheese in center. Top with remaining cranberry sauce, remaining cranberries and 2 tablespoons nuts.
  2. Whisk egg with 1 tablespoon water in small bowl. Brush onto edges of dough. Fold dough up and over cheese, overlapping until fully enclosed. Trim excess if needed. Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Brush outside with additional egg mixture. Coarsely chop remaining nuts; sprinkle on top of dough.
  3. Bake 20-25 minutes or until cheese is soft and pastry is golden brown. Cool 30 minutes before serving.

Tips

To toast almonds, arrange on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
