Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Walnuts

This dish will make you wonder why you don’t serve Brussels sprouts more often. The combination of Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces with bacon is as close to heaven as you can get in a side dish.

INGREDIENTS

3 slices
uncooked bacon
1 pound
Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved
1/4 cup
Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Cook bacon in skillet until crisp, turning frequently. Drain, reserving drippings.
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons bacon drippings in large bowl. Season with freshly ground black pepper. Arrange on baking sheet.
  3. Bake 15 minutes or until almost tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with Fisher® Walnuts. Bake 5-10 minutes or until sprouts are fully cooked. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon before serving.
