Walnut Chocolate Chip Brownies

These delectable double chocolate chip brownies are twice as good and twice as nutty with Fisher® Walnut Chips.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup
(1 stick) butter
2 cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
3
eggs
1 cup
sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
1-1/4 cups
flour
1/2 cup
Fisher® Walnut Chips
1/4 teaspoon
baking soda

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil and coat with nonstick spray.
  2. Place butter and 1 cup chocolate chips in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 30-90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until chocolate is melted. Add eggs sugar and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour, Fisher® Walnuts, baking soda and remaining chocolate chips. Spread into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 18-22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting.

For a fresh twist substitute 1 cup mint chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chips in the batter.
