 wild rice
 1/2 teaspoon
 table salt, divided
 2 cups
 cubed cooked turkey (about 12 ounces)
 1/2 cup
 chopped celery
 1/2 cup
 Fisher® Sliced Almonds, toasted
 1/4 cup
 dried cherries
 1/4 cup
 olive oil
 3 tablespoons
 chopped red onions
 4 teaspoons
 sherry or balsamic vinegar
 1 teaspoon
 Dijon mustard
 1/8 teaspoon
 ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS
- Bring 2 cups water to boil in small saucepan. Add rice and ¼ teaspoon salt; cover with lid. Cook on low heat 45 minutes to 1 hour or until rice is tender and most grains are split open. Drain well; cool.
- Place remaining ingredients in large bowl. Add cooled rice; mix well. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Tips
To toast almonds, heat in dry skillet on medium heat 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
