Chocolate Pecan Truffles

Fisher® Pecan Halves add just the right amount of flavor to these mouthwatering chocolate treats. Try with a pecan coating or pecan crunch on the inside. Either way these truffles are sure to please!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup
heavy cream
6 tablespoons
butter
1/4 cup
Karo® Light Corn Syrup
6 ounces
semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 ounces
unsweetened baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon
vanilla

Fisher® Pecan Halves, broken in half
1/3 cup
finely chopped Fisher® Pecan Halves

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine cream, butter and corn syrup in medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until completely melted. Stir in vanilla. Pour into shallow baking pan lined with plastic wrap. Cover and refrigerate about 3 hours or until firm.
  2. Shape mixture into 24 balls. Press 1 Fisher® Pecan piece into center of each ball, rolling again to smooth indentation. Roll truffles in chopped nuts. Refrigerate in tightly covered container.

For variety, coat some of the truffles in cocoa powder.
