Waffles always taste better when your favorite flavors are involved. Try adding a Fisher® Pecan Halves to the batter along with a touch of vanilla and sour cream.
Ingredients
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup sour cream
2 eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Halves
Directions
Heat waffle iron. Whisk first 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and form a well in the center. Pour the wet mixture to the well and gently stir in with the dry. Don't worry if there are a few lumps.
When iron is hot, spray lightly with non-stick spray. Spoon about 3/4 cup of batter onto the center of the iron and cook until a golden brown crust forms.
