Everyone’s favorite cookie bar is now the perfect gift! With all of the ingredients in one compact jar preparing this classic dessert couldn’t be easier.
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Halves
1 1/2 stick (6 oz.) unsalted butter
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Layer flour, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, chocolate chips and pecans in a jar. When giving as a gift, cover container with lid and attach these instructions.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Cream 1½ sticks butter in bowl of an electric mixer. Beat in 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in jar contents. Mix until just blended.
Transfer blondie mixture to prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove to cooling rack; cool completely. Cut into bars to serve.
