  • For a quick, easy dessert, there’s no better recipe than these Chocolate and Golden Haystacks. Fisher® Peanuts make a sweet and crunchy treat that’s sure to please!


  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup Fisher® Creamy Peanut Butter, divided in half
  • 1 cup Fisher® Roasted Salted Peanuts, divided in half
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles


  1. Place chocolate chips and ½ cup peanut butter in a 2-quart glass bowl. Microwave at medium for 3 to 5 minutes, or until chips are soft and melted, stirring occasionally. Repeat the same process with the butterscotch chips and remaining peanut butter.
  2. Stir in ½ cup peanuts and 1 cup chow mein noodles to the chocolate and peanut butter mixture, and ½ cup peanuts and 1 cup chow mein noodles to the butterscotch and peanut butter mixture. With a spatula.
  3. Drop large spoonfuls onto a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.

This is one of the most simple recipes to make that you can grow addicted to!! I love these "CHOCOLATE & GOLDEN HAYSTACKS"!! They are great for any get together, birthday party, or just for a snack to share! YUMMY!!

When I was young, my neighbor made the butterscotch/p.b. mixture (also contained miniature marshmallows) and she called them "Hopscotches". Almost like a candy, nothing like the great taste of these. Very easy to make, great little recipe! - SC
