  • Delivering everything you love about traditional oatmeal cookies with the crunch of our Chef’s Naturals Chopped Walnuts and a drizzle of melted chocolate to boot, this recipe reimagines an old favorite.

  • 2 tablespoons very soft unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Karo®® Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Chopped Walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

  1. Preheat over to 375°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, flour, oats, walnuts and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until mixture is thoroughly combined.
  3. Place level teaspoons of batter onto the prepared pan, spacing them 4-inches apart (the cookies will spread to about 3-inches in diameter during baking). Bake until golden brown 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Cook on baking sheets for 3 minutes or until they hold together then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave on HIGH for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds. Check chocolate every 15 seconds after stirring. Place in a resealable plastic bag with one corner cut off and drizzle over the cookies. Refrigerate for 5 minute, if needed, to harden the chocolate.
