Note: Serve with buns and toppings, if desired: lettuce, red onion, pickles, cheese, bacon, ketchup. For food safety, gently rub produce under cold running water.
Ingredients
10 ounces ground beef or turkey
1/2 cupFisher® Chef’s Naturals Almond Flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons (2-3) neutral oil (such as vegetable, canola, or grapeseed oil)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Directions
Combine ground meat, Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Almond Flour and olive oil in small bowl and mix together thoroughly.
Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and roll each into ball. Note: Wash hands after touching raw meats and poultry.
Heat large frying pan over medium heat. Add neutral oil.
Add two of the portions to the pan and season them with a pinch of salt.
After 5 to 10 seconds turn burgers over. Using tongs and spatula press down until burgers are approximately ½-inch thick.
Season with another pinch of salt and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Flip each patty and season with pepper. Add cheese, if using, and cook another 1 to 2 minutes, until cooked through and cheese has melted.
Place burgers on buns and add desired toppings.
Scrape any leftover bits out of pan and repeat with remaining patties.
