Black Bean and Corn Salad

  • This South of the Border classic has all of the standard ingredients... with one special addition: Fisher® Pecans! Chop it up small for just enough crunch and flavor in every bite.


  • 1 can (14 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen corn kernels, prepare according to manufacturer's instructions and cool
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • For food safety, rub produce under cold running water and scrub firm produce with a clean vegetable brush under running water.


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Refrigerate before serving.
