  • Like a thanksgiving meal as a sandwich, this recipe gives the satisfaction and flavor of a full-course dinner with a minimal prep time.                                                                                                                                                                                Submitted by Betty Sullivan (Des Plaines, IL) 


  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Orange zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup Chopped cooked turkey meat or deli turkey
  • 1/2 cup Fisher® Honey Roasted Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
  • 6 slices Whole grain bread
  • 3 Green leaf lettuce leaves - for food safety, gently rub produce under cold running water


  1. Mix mayonnaise, orange zest and pepper together in a medium bowl. Stir in turkey, pecans and cranberries; set aside
  2. Top 3 slices of whole grain bread with one lettuce leaf each, and top lettuce with a generous 1/2 cup turkey salad and a second slice of bread.
