Pecan Crusted Tilapia

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, chopped (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound tilapia fillets (defrosted, if necessary)
  • 1/2 cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Flour


  1. Turn on the oven broiler.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and tarragon. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place the Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Flour on a plate.
  3. Spread the mayo mixture evenly on top of the tilapia. Press the tilapia, mayo side down, into the pecan flour. Place on a baking rack set over a baking sheet, pecan side up.
  4. Place the tilapia 4-6" from the broiler. Broil for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily and internal temperature reaches 145°F on food thermometer.
  5. Serve immediately. Great with a side of rice and crispy steamed green beans.
