  • Looking for a fresh twist on a cheesy vegetable dip? Add Fisher® Walnut Halves and Pieces to the mix for added character, crunch and a unique taste to an appetizer that is sure to please! For the perfect final touch, garnish with walnut halves and a diced sun-dried tomato. 


  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup prepared pesto
  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped, toasted Fisher® Chef's Naturals Walnut Halves and Pieces


  1. Spread cream cheese onto bottom of a microwave safe 9 inch pie plate or 10 inch tart dish. Cover cream cheese with an even layer of pesto sauce. Sprinkle with tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and walnuts.
  2. Sprinkle with tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and walnuts. Serve cold or broil for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
  3. Note: To toast walnuts, place them in a dry skillet over medium high heat. Stir frequently until nuts are browned. Remove from skillet to stop cooking.
