Walnut Chocolate Chip Brownies

  • These delectable double chocolate chip brownies are twice as good and twice as nutty with Fisher® Walnut Chips.
  • For a Fresh Twist: Stir in mint chips instead of chocolate.


  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Fisher® Walnut Chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.
  2. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler over simmering water or in a microwavable dish on HIGH for 1 min., stirring halfway through cooking or until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Place chocolate mixture in a large bowl. Stir in eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla, baking soda, walnuts, and remaining chocolate chips. Spread into pan.
  4. Bake for 18 to 22 min. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
