  • There's nothing better than a fresh, filling salad. Fisher® Walnut Halves and Pieces add a healthy, hearty crunch to your tasty greens.

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 9 cups mixed greens
  • 1 red apple (gala or delicious), cut in half, cored and cut into slices
  • 1/2 cup Fisher® Walnut Halves and Pieces
  • 1/4 cup raisins or currants
  • 3/4 cup blue cheese crumbles, optional
  • For food safety, gently rub produce under cold running water.


  1. Whisk mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, dried basil, honey, salt and pepper in a small bowl, set aside.
  2. . Place 1½ cups salad greens onto each of 4 plates. Top with apple slices, walnuts, raisins and blue cheese. Drizzle with 2 Tbsp. dressing immediately before serving.
