INGREDIENTS

1 package
(17.5 ounces) oatmeal cookie mix
1/2 cup
(1 stick) butter, softened
1
egg
1 large
apple, peeled, chopped (about 1-1/4 cups)
3/4 cup
chopped Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces, divided

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and prepare with nonstick spray.
  2. Mix cookie mix, butter, egg and 2 tablespoons water in large bowl until well blended. Stir in apples and ½ cup Fisher® Walnuts.
  3. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes.
  4. Combine caramels and 1 teaspoon water in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH in 30 second increments, stirring after each until caramels are melted. Drizzle over cake. Sprinkle with remaining ¼ cup nuts; gently press into caramel. Cool completely before cutting.
