baking powder
1 teaspoon
sugar

(1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut up
3/4 cup
milk
Filling
1 quart
fresh strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup
chopped Fisher® Walnut Halves & Pieces
2 tablespoons
sugar
1-1/4 cups
heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks

DIRECTIONS
- For Biscuits: Heat oven to 375°F.
- Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until dough forms.
- Knead dough on lightly floured surface 5 times. Pat or roll lightly to about ½-inch thickness. Cut out 10 circles with 2-1/2-inch round cutter, rerolling scraps as needed. Place on parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack; cool.
- For Filling: Combine strawberries, Fisher® Walnuts and sugar in bowl.
- Split biscuits; fill each with about 2 tablespoons whipped cream and ¼ cup strawberry mixture.
