  • Bacon and peanuts to start the meal? Dinner parties will never be the same! Put a simple twist on the traditional cheese ball with Fisher® peanuts.

Ingredients

  • 3 green onions, divided - for food safety, gently rub produce under cold running water
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 3/4 cup chopped Fisher® Dry Roasted Peanuts, divided

Directions

  1. Chop 2 green onions, place in bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Add in bacon, cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, hot sauce, and ¼ cup peanuts and process until smooth
  2. Shape into a ball or football shape. Roll in remaining ½ cup peanuts. For football, cut remaining green onion into strips and place on cheese ball to resemble stitching. Refrigerate. Let cheese ball stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
