Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound beef top round or flank steak, cut into 24 strips
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 24 Wooden skewers
  • Peanut Sauce:

  • 1 1/4 cup Fisher® Dry Roasted Peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Marinade: Combine soy sauce, ginger and garlic in a plastic bag with a zip closure. Add beef, seal the bag and marinate, in the refrigerator, for 1 to 3 hours. Meanwhile, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread beef strips onto the skewers. Do not reuse marinade used on raw beef. Wash hands after touching raw beef. Grill until internal temperature reaches 145°F on a food thermometer, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Peanut Sauce: Place 1 cup peanuts and oil in food processor and process until they form a smooth paste. Add in garlic, red pepper flakes, sugar, lime juice and soy sauce Blend until smooth. Add water if desired to achieve a sauce consistency. Chop remaining ¼ cup peanuts and stir into sauce. Serve with hot beef skewers.
