  • Fisher® is raising the bar with these delicious scones made with some unexpected ingredients. When you mix raisins with Fisher® Pistachio Nuts, you get a scone with the mouthwatering combination of sweet and savory.
  • For a Fresh Twist: Add ½ tsp. ground cardamom to the dough.


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar, divided + 1 teaspoon
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 package 2 oz. Fisher® Pistachio Nuts
  • ¼ golden raisins
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1¼ cup whipping cream, divided + 1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix flour, ¼ cup sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Stir in pistachio nuts, raisins and lemon zest. Add 1¼ cups whipping cream and vanilla and stir until dough forms. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently until dough holds together. Form dough into 9-inch circle. Brush top with remaining 1 tsp. whipping cream and 1 tsp. sugar. Cut into 12 wedges.
  2. Transfer wedges to large baking sheet, spacing evenly. Bake scones until light golden brown, about 12 to 14 min. Transfer to rack and cool slightly. Serve scones warm or at room temperature.
