Fudge-Filled Cookie Bars

  • Fudge and Fisher® nuts have been sweetening up the holidays for decades! And the combination of the two is just as delicious.


  • 1 package (17.5 oz.) oatmeal cookie mix
  • 1 stick plus 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Fisher® Chefs Natural Walnut Halves and Pieces


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare cookie mix according to package directions. Pat 2/3 of cookie dough into the prepared pan, set aside the remaining cookie dough.
  3. Heat the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and remaining 3 tbsp. butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in walnuts.
  4. Spread chocolate mixture evenly over the cookie dough in the baking pan, and dot with remaining oat mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cooked through. Cool to room temperature before cutting into bars.
